How We Can Help
Believe and Achieve Child and Family Foundation Ltd supports improved access to early intervention and family centred services for children who may have developmental differences, disability, trauma, or who are showing signs they may benefit from additional support.
Support may include assistance to access external, appropriately qualified providers and services, depending on individual need and eligibility, including:
- Occupational therapy to support independence, regulation, and daily living skills
- Speech therapy to support communication
- Psychological supports to assist emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Early intervention supports tailored to each child’s needs and goals
- Support to access developmental screening and appropriate referral pathways where required
- Support to connect with paediatricians and other health professionals
- Parent and carer support, guidance, and connection with other families
- Outreach based support for families in rural and remote areas to improve access to services
The foundation’s main goal is to provide early support, practical assistance, and improved access to services, while helping families feel supported, understood, and not alone.
Who Can Apply?
Believe and Achieve Child and Family Foundation Ltd supports children, young people, and families who may benefit from additional developmental, learning, emotional wellbeing, or daily living supports.
Families do not need a formal diagnosis or NDIS funding to make an enquiry or seek support. Families may be considered for support where a child is:
- Experiencing developmental differences
- Showing signs of autism or other neurodevelopmental needs
- Experiencing challenges with emotional regulation, behaviour, or attention
- Affected by trauma or adverse experiences
- Experiencing difficulties with communication, social connection, or everyday skills
- In need of early intervention or developmental support
Support may also be considered for:
- Families experiencing financial barriers to accessing services
- Families not currently eligible for, or supported through, the NDIS
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families
- Families living in rural or remote areas with limited access to services
- Families who are unsure where to begin or what supports may be appropriate
Support is determined through an individual review process, with the aim of connecting families to appropriate external services and supports based on need and eligibility.
The foundation is focused on improving early access to support, reducing barriers, and helping families feel informed, supported, and connected.
How to Apply
Believe and Achieve Child and Family Foundation Ltd supports families who are not currently receiving NDIS funded therapy or ongoing NDIS funded supports. This approach helps prioritise early access to support and avoids duplication of existing funded services.
Step 1: Reach Out
Families and supports can make contact through the application process to share an overview of concerns, goals, and the type of support being sought.
Step 2: Initial Connection
A team member connects with the family to understand the child’s needs, current supports, and priorities. This helps determine eligibility and identify appropriate support pathways.
Step 3: Support Planning
If appropriate, a support plan is developed to identify suitable external services and providers. This may include referrals to therapy, assessment pathways, or family based programs, depending on need.
Step 4: Access to Supports
Where approved, families are supported to connect with external providers and services in a practical and accessible way, with a focus on early intervention, everyday goals, and family involvement.

Support is provided based on eligibility, assessed need, available resources, and suitability at the time of application.
